Dossier No.1: Remote Management

An off-the-shelf CPU module running the Microsoft .NET micro Framework was used as a building block to rapidly develop an internet appliance to client specification.

This product monitors and controls the technology infrastructure in hotels and resorts by interacting with the phone system, access control / security system, key card printer and billing systems at the main desk, and in the bars and restaurants of a resort or hotel. Key requirements include:

Electronic Partners worked with the client to select the best platform, building on the clients experience with .NET code development. A quick turnaround prototype allowed the client to develop and test a proof of concept system early in the development cycle, reducing the time to market.
